Senior graduation plans

Ensuring that seniors enjoy a memorable final  memory of high school, this year’s  graduation, organized by several faculty members including Lisa Arionus, Jazmine Silver, Shari De Cambra and Janna Van Horn, will be held in-person.

The ceremony  at 7 p.m. Thursday on the campus’ football fields. Seniors are expected to arrive no later than 5:30 p.m., where they will report to the amphitheater for a final rundown of the night.

Similar to last year’s graduation, all graduates will be walking down from the tennis courts to the football field once the ceremony begins. Following the ceremony, all seniors will have the opportunity to take their picture with a professional photographer.

In order to adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines, seniors are permitted to bring a maximum of five family members from the same household, three of which will be given free tickets. Additionally, all guests must complete a DBHS Visitor’s Health Screening Log, located on the school website under the Safety and Wellness tab, for symptoms prior to entering campus.

Because re-entries are limited due to safety precautions, all family members are required to enter the school gates together. Additionally, seating arrangements will not be made for each graduate’s family. Instead, the school will be employing a first come, first serve basis on the day of the ceremony.

The complete ceremony will be livestreamed on the DBHS YouTube account for family members unable to attend the event in-person.
