DBHS ranked Top 500 in STEM
Every year, website and magazine company Newsweek ranks the best high schools in the nation. In addition to that category, the company, for the first time, ranked the Top 500 STEM high schools across the nation.
Diamond Bar High School placed 317th in the nation for STEM schools and 542nd in the nation for best high schools.
For the new category, Newsweek and STEM.org joined forces and judged schools based on the teachers and their ability to create a successful learning environment as well as how well they stay updated with the development of the STEM field.
Over 30,000 high schools were analyzed and then tiered from one to five thousand. DBHS was among 82 California high schools on the list.
Along with DBHS, which earned a score of 92.01, Troy High School ranked 39th and received a score of 96.73. Walnut High School and Diamond Ranch High School were not included in the rankings.
