Brahmas stomp the Jaguars out
Diamond Bar football dominated another league match, winning against Ontario 34-6, bringing its overall record to 5-3.
The team played well both offensively and defensively against the Jaguars. Senior Dylan Karanickolas threw for 335 yards and had a 75 percent completion rate. Not only did the quarterback connect for four touchdowns, hitting receivers junior Blake Davis, sophomore Michael Gorbea and senior Brian Baker, but the team came up with a defensive touchdown off a 30-yard interception run from junior Cory Ung.
The team made 77 tackles, two forced fumbles and had six sacks.
With an impressive showing at Ontario, the boys racked up their third win in their streak, and now are 3-0 in the Mt. Baldy League. The Brahmas are tied with Chaffey as the top team in the league.
Their next game will be a showdown between the league leaders, playing at Chaffey on Friday at 6 p.m.
