DIY: Valentine’s Day gift ideas

- Buy a cheap white mug
- Clean mug with rubbing alcohol (can also be used to remove mistakes)
Using Sharpie pens (Sharpie Paint pens recommended), draw whatever design you would like, such as Valentine’s Day puns (Olive you; I love you a latte; You’re purrfect) or create matching mugs.
Let the mug dry for 3 days
Place in oven and set to 425 degrees then cook for 1 hour.
Leave the mug in the oven to cool completely before taking it out
- Cut a piece of tape about a foot long and place it sticky side up
- Taking a paper streamer, begin to form small pleats while placing it on the tape. Leave half of the tape uncovered
- Cut the streamer when the strip of tape is fully covered
- Wrap the pleat around the lollipop making sure the tape touches the stick
- Cut another strip of tape and wrap it around the base for secureness
- Get a mason jar or any other large jar
- Pack the ingredients in the following order: 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 3/4 cup dark brown sugar, 1/2 cup white sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa, 1/2 cup chopped pecans (any nuts will do), 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Attach a card with the following instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix ingredients, ¾ cup of butter, 1 egg, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla
Mix into small balls and place onto baking sheet
Bake for 10-15 minutes then let cool
